Montserrat Franco began her training in lyrical singing at an early age, coming from a family of composers and musicians. She graduated as a Senior Professor of Voice from the W.A. Mozart Conservatory and was awarded specialization scholarships at prestigious institutions such as the Accademia Chigiana di Siena and the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia di Roma, studying under masters like Victoria de los Ángeles and Katia Ricciarelli.

Her musical career and curiosity for diverse styles led her to collaborate on productions with world-class musicians, including Al Di Meola, Chick Corea, BB King, and Larry Harlow (Fania All Stars), among others.

She has performed as a guest artist on iconic stages such as the ancient Teatro di Marcello in Rome, the Melbourne and Perth Jazz Festivals in Australia, the Jerusalem Theatre, Haifa and Yaffo in Israel, and the Rector’s Palace in Dubrovnik, as well as in concert halls across Latin America, Europe, and the USA.

A polyglot, she speaks 7 languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, English, Hebrew, and Guaraní.

In 2024, she released her album 'Soy Espadín,' inspired by Oaxaca and Mezcal, recorded with local ensembles such as the CECAM Philharmonic Band and the Tierra Matateca Band. Her book 'Mujer y Espíritu' is a collection of poems dedicated to Oaxacan traditions, featuring photography by renowned local artists.
